About The Scripted Body
The Scripted Body was created with one belief at its heart: every body has a story. I’m Delona Bean — Licensed Massage Therapist, performer, veteran, pastry chef, artist, and someone who has worn more hats than I can count. Each chapter of my life shaped me, literally and figuratively, and taught me how much our bodies carry long after the moment has passed. Before I became a massage therapist, I performed on stages, spent hours in the kitchen, trekked miles on mail routes, held my bearing in formation, and waded through the countless roles everyday life demands. All of those experiences showed me that a “performer” isn’t just someone with a spotlight — it’s anyone who shows up, works hard, adapts, creates, cares for others, and keeps going.
The Scripted Body was built for those people — for performers and bodies that perform. My work blends intuitive touch, slow unwinding, and a mind-body-spirit approach that centers your humanity, not just your muscles. I don’t promise to fix or heal your story; I offer a space where your body can soften, be listened to, and feel genuinely cared for, even if only for an hour or two. Every session is unique because every body’s story is unique — and my role is to help yours feel a little lighter, a little freer, and a lot more supported.
If that resonates, consider this your invitation to begin your next chapter with me.

FAQ
What if I have mobility limitations or chronic pain?
You’re absolutely welcome. My approach is mindful, collaborative, and supportive for bodies that carry chronic tension, injury history, or mobility challenges. We’ll adjust as needed.
Do you offer mobile massage at home or only for events?
I offer mobile sessions in clients’ homes and on-site sessions for events, offices, and community gatherings. Your space simply needs to be clean, safe, and free of distractions.
How should I prepare for my mobile session?
Just have a clear space for the massage table or chair, wear comfortable clothes, and hydrate. I’ll bring everything else — sheets, oils, music, and the vibe.
What does your massage feel like?
My work is slow, intentional, and deeply restorative. I pull from Swedish, myofascial, deep tissue, and acupressure techniques to create a massage that’s unique to your body — not a routine.
What if I feel nervous or self-conscious?
You’re in good company — many new clients feel this way at first. My priority is creating a safe, respectful, judgment-free environment. You’re always in control of your comfort level.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Same-day cancellations are subject to a $40 cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged the full session price. Cases are handled at the owner's discretion.
Do you accept same-day bookings?
Sometimes! If I have an opening, I’m happy to accommodate. The quickest way to find out is to text or check the online booking calendar. Cancellation policies still apply.
